About Dungeon Settlers Wiki
Dungeon Settlers Wiki publishes independent player guides in English and Japanese for Dungeon Settlers. It is not operated by or affiliated with CanOpener, WhisperGames, Steam, or other rights holders.
What our guides aim to do
Each guide should help you complete an action: start research, obtain a material, make a room register, fix a supply problem, or prepare a party. We organize sourced facts into steps, comparisons, troubleshooting sequences, and clearly labelled calculations. Useful detail determines the length of an article.
How to read the evidence
- Official notes establish what the developer announced for a named patch.
- Game-data references give recorded values for their stated source build. Those values retain that build label when later patches are reviewed.
- Player reports establish what the named source observed or recommended in that context.
- Worked examples and checklists are our calculations or practical interpretation, rather than measurements of a skill or a promise of results.
A page's review scope and source list identify these boundaries. A source-review date means the material was checked; it does not mean the game was played or retested. A site-run test is only described as such when its version, conditions, and observed result can be given.
Editorial responsibility and production
Dungeon Settlers Wiki is responsible for the guides published here. AI tools assist with source research, drafting, organization, and localization. Source links let readers inspect the basis of a claim. We do not attribute invented playtime, credentials, or gameplay tests to an author.
We write our own explanations and calculations. Other guides and community posts are credited where they contribute evidence; their prose and screenshots are not republished as our own.
Updates and corrections
We change a guide's edit date when its content changes, and retain older data dates when only part of the evidence has been reviewed. Official changes are applied to the affected instructions rather than used to relabel every table as freshly tested.
To report a correction, send the page, claim, game version, platform, and relevant source or screenshot context to [email protected]. A specific discrepancy helps us distinguish a patch change from a different save, difficulty, or condition.
Independence and rights
Game names, artwork, and other rights-holder material belong to their owners. Source links provide context and do not imply developer endorsement. For account, purchase, refund, or technical support, use the relevant official service.
